About Me
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. I hope you can explore to learn more about me and view some of the work that I have curated while being a student at the University of New England.
In the fall of 2020, I began my studies at UNE and will be graduating in May with a degree in Medical Biology-Medical Science and a minor in Nutrition. Shortly after graduation I will be continuing my education by attending a physician assistant masters program. To learn more about why I chose to become a PA please see the links below.
During my time at UNE, I have kept myself busy by becoming a Digital Literacy Consultant, a Harold Alfond Forum Student Building Manger, a Certified Nursing Assistant at a local hospital, and most notably playing four years on the Women’s Ice Hockey team. Being a member of the hockey team has been one of the greatest honors of my life. While it has not always been easy, I have learned a lot about myself as well as what it means and takes to be a leader. Through my time on this team, I have met some of my closest friends both older and younger than myself. As I get ready to say goodbye to my college-hockey career I am filled with pride as I see the growth in myself but also in the program as whole. I have been able help some girls transition into college and now I get to watch as they step into their own and take over the program. Despite being sad that my time is soon coming to an end, there is nothing that makes me happier than to watch many of the girls that I mentored develop into some of the best leaders I have seen.
I am proud to call myself Nor’ Easter and I hope as you visit my site you can see all the ways in which my time here as affected me for the better!
Enjoy!
